Abstract
In one aspect, a scraping blade is provided for a roller conveyor cleaning tool. The scraping blade includes a blade body, a proximal attachment portion of the body, and an elongate shank portion of the body extending longitudinally from the proximal attachment portion. The body includes a distal tip portion extending downwardly from the shank portion. The distal tip portion includes a lower arcuate scraping edge configured to engage a cylindrical outer surface of a roller.
Claims32
A scraping blade for a roller conveyor cleaning tool, the scraping blade comprising:
- a blade body;
- a proximal attachment portion of the body;
- an elongate shank portion of the body extending longitudinally from the proximal attachment portion;
- a distal tip portion of the body extending downwardly from the shank portion;
- and
- a lower arcuate scraping edge of the distal tip portion configured to engage a cylindrical outer surface of a roller.
A roller cleaning tool for cleaning rollers of a roller conveyor, the roller cleaning tool comprising:
- an arcuate saddle portion configured to be seated against a cylindrical outer surface of a roller;
- a scraping blade;
- and
- an arcuate scraping edge of the scraping blade spaced from the arcuate saddle portion and configured to engage the roller cylindrical outer surface with the saddle portion seated on the cylindrical outer surface.
