Abstract

A lid is configured to be attached to a container that has an opening and a rim that forms the opening. When attached to the container, the lid includes a top surface that covers the opening, an annular side wall that connects the rim and is formed along the outer peripheral rim of the top surface. The lid also includes a bend part at the outer peripheral rim of the top surface, and a plurality of small walls connected to the top surface through the bend part, surrounding its periphery. The bend part defines a boundary between the top surface and the side wall. The side wall includes a plurality of small walls and has overlaps where adjacent small walls partially overlap. Within these each overlap, a small wall joint part is formed to join the adjacent small walls.
