An inspection glass holder is suggested for carrying a plurality of inspection glasses. The holder comprises a QR code that is commonly allocated to the inspection glasses arranged thereon. Prior to separating the foil from the blister, the data printed on the foil including the individual blister code is automatically read and is allocated to the QR code of the holder in the same sequence. Thereafter, the foil is separated from the shells and the lenses are transferred from the shells of the blister packages to the inspection glasses in the same sequence. The parameters of the lenses measured in the inspection glasses are correctly associated to the data read from the foil which are all allocated to the same QR code of the holder.
Method for providing a predetermined number of ophthalmic lenses (5), in particular contact lenses such as soft contact lenses, manufactured in an automated lens manufacturing process in a plurality of lens receptacles (2) arranged on one or more lens receptacle carriers (1), the method comprising the steps of:
A system for providing a predetermined number of ophthalmic lenses (5), in particular contact lenses such as soft contact lenses (5), in a plurality of lens receptacles (2), one ophthalmic lens (5) in each lens receptacle (2) of the plurality of lens receptacles (2), each ophthalmic lens (2) being manufactured in a same lot in an automated lens manufacturing process and being transferred from a primary package (3) containing the ophthalmic lens (5), the primary package (3) comprising a machine-readable unique lens identifier (31) allocated to manufacturing data for the ophthalmic lens (5) contained therein,
