Aircraft passenger service unit fixing element

A passenger service unit fixing element for releasably fixing a passenger service unit in a passenger cabin of an aircraft,

• the passenger service unit fixing element comprising a clamping body and a locking element that is rotatably arranged in the clamping body;
• wherein the clamping body comprises at least one clamp and wherein each of the at least one clamp comprises:
• a coupling portion for being coupled to the passenger service unit;
• and
• a clamping portion for being clamped to a support member that is provided in the passenger cabin, the clamping portion comprising two clamp arms that are elastically movable with respect to each other between a clamped configuration, in which the support member is clampable between the two clamp arms, and a released configuration, in which the clamping portion is detachable from the support member;
• and
• wherein the locking element is rotatable between a locked position, in which the locking element locks the clamp arms in the clamped configuration, and an unlocked position, in which the locking element allows the clamp arms to move from the clamped configuration into the released configuration.
