Abstract
A quick-install cover system for a watercraft includes a cover having a cover body and a tension member that extends about a bottom of the cover body. The tension member is selectively tensionable to transform the cover from a loose configuration to a tightened configuration. At least one anchor point arranged at the watercraft. The tension member is coupled to the at least one anchor point when the cover is transformed from the loose configuration to the tightened configuration.
Claims20
A quick-install cover system for a watercraft comprising:
- a cover having a cover body and a tension member that extends about a bottom of the cover body, the tension member being selectively tensionable to transform the cover from a loose configuration to a tightened configuration;
- and
- at least one anchor point arranged at the watercraft, wherein the tension member is coupled to the at least one anchor point when the cover is transformed from the loose configuration to the tightened configuration.
A watercraft comprising:
- a deck;
- a railing system arranged at an upper surface of the deck;
- a quick-install cover system removably connectable to the watercraft, the quick-install cover system including:
- a cover, the cover being positionable in overlapping arrangement with the railing system;
- and
- a tension member arranged at the cover and connectable to a plurality to anchor points arranged proximate the railing system, the tension member being selectively tensionable to transform the cover from a loose configuration to a tightened configuration.
A pole mounting system for a quick-install cover system of a watercraft, the pole mounting system comprising:
- a support pole for supporting a cover, the pole having an engagement member arranged at a first end thereof;
- and
- a receiving member arranged at a deck of the watercraft, wherein the engagement member and the receiving member form a quick-connect coupling.
