Abstract
A method for determining a rear axle steering angle is disclosed. The rear axle steering angle is determined based on a detected front axle steering angle, and tire characteristics and the location of the vehicle center of gravity are taken into account when determining the rear axle steering angle.

A method for determining a rear axle steering angle, comprising:
- detecting a front axle steering angle, and determining the rear axle steering angle based on the detected front angle steering angle,
- wherein tire characteristics and a location of a vehicle center of gravity are taken into account when determining the rear axle steering angle.
