Abstract
A silencer unit for a pneumatic brake system of a utility vehicle, the silencer unit comprising an interface for connection to the pneumatic brake system of a utility vehicle, an air inlet, and an air outlet, wherein the silencer unit is oriented non-vertically downwards towards the ground when installed and connected to the pneumatic brake system, and a spray protection element is connected to the silencer unit at least one of around and on the air outlet.

- an interface for connection to the pneumatic brake system of a utility vehicle,
- an air inlet, and
- an air outlet,
- wherein the silencer unit is oriented non-vertically downwards towards the ground when installed and connected to the pneumatic brake system, and a spray protection element is connected to the silencer unit at least one of around and on the air outlet.
A pneumatic system for a utility vehicle comprising at least one silencer unit for a pneumatic brake system of a utility vehicle, the silencer unit comprising:
- an interface for connection to the pneumatic brake system of a utility vehicle,
- an air inlet, and
- an air outlet,
- wherein the silencer unit is oriented non-vertically downwards towards the ground when installed and connected to the pneumatic brake system, and a spray protection element is connected to the silencer unit at least one of around and on the air outlet.
A method for using a silencer unit for a pneumatic brake system of a utility vehicle, the silencer unit comprising:
- an interface for connection to the pneumatic brake system of a utility vehicle,
- an air inlet, and
- an air outlet,
