Abstract
A camera array system featuring a plurality of camera clusters attached to a plurality of multi-prong stabilized mounting plates arranged in a split-rig configuration, with the mounting plates configured for mounting the camera clusters onto a moving vehicle.

A camera array stabilizer system for one or more cameras comprising a mounting plate, at least two stabilizer units, and a vehicular attachment part:
- a. with the mounting plate being configured for mounting the one or more cameras to a vehicle;
- i. with the mounting plate having plate channels;
- ii. with the plate channels being holes disposed on the mounting plate;
- b. with the at least two stabilizer units configured to attach to the mounting plate at the plate channels;
- c. with each of the at least two stabilizer units comprising a first stabilizer, a second stabilizer, and a bolt;
- i. with the first stabilizer having a top, an intermediary, a bottom, and a central inner channel passing through the top, the intermediary, and the bottom;
- ii. with the central inner channel being coaxial with a given plate channel;
- iii. with the bolt passing through the first stabilizer via the central inner channel and the given plate channel;
- iv. with the bolt applying a compression force upon the first stabilizer, the mounting plate, and the second stabilizer;
- v. with the second stabilizer positioned on an opposite side of the mounting plate from the first stabilizer;
- vi. with the intermediary being more compressible than the top and the bottom;
- d. with a majority of the at least two stabilizer units not sharing a vertical axis with any of the one or more cameras;
- e. with the one or more cameras attached to the mounting plate via the one or more stabilizer units;
- f. with the mounting plate attached to the vehicle via the vehicular attachment part.

- a. with the mounting plate being configured for mounting the one or more cameras to a vehicle;
- i. with the mounting plate having plate channels;

- c. with each of the at least two stabilizer units comprising a first stabilizer and a fastener, with the first stabilizer comprising a first intermediary, a first rigid layer, and a first central inner channel;
- i. with the first central inner channel passing through the first rigid layer and the first intermediary;
- ii. with the first central inner channel being coaxial with a given plate channel;
- iii. with the fastener passing through the first stabilizer via the first intermediary, the first rigid layer, and the given plate channel;
- iv. with the first rigid layer or fastener applying a compression force upon the first stabilizer and the mounting plate;
- v. with the first intermediary being more compressible than the first rigid layer;
- d. with a majority of the at least two stabilizer units not sharing a vertical axis with any of the one or more cameras;
- e. with the one or more cameras attached to the mounting plate via the one or more stabilizer units.

A camera array stabilizer system for one or more cameras comprising:
- a. a mounting plate having one or more attachment interfaces, with the mounting plate being configured for mounting the one or more cameras to a vehicle;
- b. at least two stabilizer units;
- i. each stabilizer unit comprising:
- 1. a first stabilizer comprising a compressible intermediary;
- and
- 2. a fastener configured to engage the attachment interface and the stabilizer unit;
- c. wherein the fastener applies a compression force such that the compressible intermediary is compressed between the first stabilizer unit and the mounting plate;
- d. wherein a majority of the stabilizer units are positioned such that they do not share a vertical axis with the one or more cameras.
