Abstract

A vehicle seat for an automotive vehicle has laterally spaced apart side members with respective pivot slots and a cushion frame supported between the side members and including laterally spaced apart sliding slots. The vehicle seat has opposing front attachments fixedly coupled to the respective side members and pivotably and slidably coupled to the respective sliding slots. The vehicle seat also includes opposing rear attachments coupling the cushion frame to the respective pivot slots. The cushion frame is repositionable between a horizontal seating position and an upright stadium position. To reposition the cushion frame from the seating position to the stadium position, the cushion frame is translated forwardly along the pivot slots prior to pivoting the cushion frame about the front attachments to the stadium position.
