A coating apparatus that coats a work to be coated with a film, the coating apparatus including: a coating unit configured to coat the work to be coated with a film; an accommodation unit configured to accommodate the film before coating; a conveyance unit configured to convey the film before coating from the accommodation unit to the coating unit; and a decoration unit configured to decorate the film before coating between the accommodation unit and the coating unit.

A coating apparatus that coats a work to be coated with a film, the coating apparatus comprising:
- a coating unit configured to coat the work to be coated with a film;
- an accommodation unit configured to accommodate the film before coating;
- a conveyance unit configured to convey the film before coating from the accommodation unit to the coating unit;
- and
- a decoration unit configured to decorate the film before coating between the accommodation unit and the coating unit.
A coating method of coating a work to be coated with a film, the coating method comprising:
- conveying a film before coating from an accommodation unit that accommodates the film before coating;
- decorating the film before coating between the accommodation unit and the coating unit and
- coating the work to be coated with the film.
