Abstract

The extrusion molding apparatus includes: an extrusion molding die; a lip gap adjusting mechanism configured to adjust a lip gap between a movable lip and a mating lip of the extrusion molding die; and a retainer configured to be fixed to the extrusion molding die and hold the lip gap adjusting mechanism, wherein the lip gap adjusting mechanism comprises a rod member which is inserted into a through-hole formed in the retainer and whose tip end portion is fixed to the movable lip, and an actuator configured to adjust the lip gap between the movable lip and the mating lip by advancing or retracting the rod member in an axial direction, and the extrusion molding apparatus further comprises a guide portion capable of allowing the rod member to move in the axial direction in the through-hole while restricting a movement of the rod member.
