Abstract
A teaching device for performing program creation using icons representing functions constituting a control program for an industrial machine includes: a program creating unit for creating a program creation screen on which the icons are arranged and which is used to perform the program creation; and a disabling control unit for disabling the icons arranged on the program creating screen on the basis of an operation performed with respect to the icons.

A teaching device for performing programming by using an icon representing a function constituting a control program of an industrial machine, the teaching device comprising:
- a program creation unit configured to generate a program creation screen for performing programming by arranging an icon;
- and
- a disabling control unit configured to disable an icon arranged on the program creation screen, based on an operation with respect to the icon.
