Abstract
A clamping system includes: a membrane structure including a first end secured to an object and a second end opposite to the first end; and a clamp configured to clamp the membrane structure such that tension is applied between the first end and the second end. The clamp includes: a first gripping portion including a suction hole, and a support surface positioned closer to the object than the suction hole; and a second gripping portion including a protrusion projecting toward the support surface. At least one of the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion is movable to adjust a gap between the protrusion and the support surface.

A clamping system comprising:
- a membrane structure comprising a first end secured to an object and a second end opposite to the first end;
- and a clamp configured to clamp the membrane structure such that tension is applied between the first end and the second end, wherein the clamp comprises:
- a first gripping portion comprising a suction hole, and a support surface positioned closer to the object than the suction hole;
- and a second gripping portion comprising a protrusion projecting toward the support surface, and at least one of the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion is movable to adjust a gap between the protrusion and the support surface.
