Abstract

The disclosure provides a positioning device and a battery processing apparatus. The positioning device comprises a base, a first jig, and a second jig. A cell, an interconnector, and a top cover that are to be welded is loaded at the material-loading station. Before passing through the first welding station, the second jig is first switched to the avoidance position so as to enable the second jig to avoid the cell in the first jig, allowing the tab of the cell to be smoothly pre-welded at the first welding station. After the pre-welding of the tab is completed, the second jig is then switched to the welding position, enabling positioning of the interconnector and the top cover relative to the cell, so that when passing through the second welding station and the third welding station, the interconnector and the top cover may be welded to the cell.
