Abstract
A method, system and computer program product for automated visual setting importation is disclosed. A first application running on a first device requests a vision setting for a second application. A vision setting of the first application running on a first device is determined to correspond to the vision setting for the second application. The vision setting for the second application is then applied to the corresponding vision setting of the first application.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- identifying a vision setting for a first application running on a first device as corresponding to a vision setting for a second application, wherein the vision setting for the second application and the vision setting for the first application are of disparate types;
- mapping a value of the vision setting for the second application to a value of the vision setting for the first application;
- modifying the vision setting for the first application based on the mapping;
- and
- rendering visuals for the first application tailored to the vision setting of the second application by applying the modified vision setting for the first application.
A system comprising:
- a processor;
- a display;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processor, the memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to:
- identify a vision setting for a first application running on the processor as corresponding to a vision setting for a second application, wherein the vision setting for the second application and the vision setting for the first application are of disparate types;
- map a value of the vision setting for the second application to a value of the vision setting for the first application;
- modify the vision setting for the first application based on the mapping;
- and
- rendering visuals for the first application on the display by applying the modified vision setting for the first application.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a processor in a first device, cause the processor to execute a method comprising:
- identifying a vision setting for a first application running on the first device as corresponding to a vision setting for a second application, wherein the vision setting for the second application and the vision setting for the first application are of disparate types;
- mapping a value of the vision setting for the second application to a value of the vision setting for the first application;
- modifying the vision setting for the first application based on the mapping;
- and
- rendering visuals for the first application tailored to the vision setting of the second application by applying the modified vision setting for the first application.
