Abstract
A method of manufacturing a full-face mask for an APR (Air Purifying Respirator) or a PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator), which method comprises: providing a sheet of a transparent polymeric first material, cutting out a visor from said sheet, forming the visor into a three-dimensional shape, and forming a frame around the visor by injection moulding a second material onto the perimeter of the visor in a first mould. A full-face mask for an APR or a PAPR is also disclosed.

A method of manufacturing a full-face mask for an APR (air purifying Respirator) or a PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator), which method comprises:
- providing a sheet of a transparent polymeric first material,
- cutting out a visor from said sheet,
- forming the visor into a three-dimensional shape in a first mould by applying heat to the visor and closing the first mould,
- forming a frame around the visor by injection moulding a second material onto a perimeter of the visor in a first mould.
