Abstract
The invention relates to a method for reducing a germ density in the usable space of a device, comprising heating the usable space to a process temperature such that the relative humidity in the usable space is below an upper humidity limit value; regulating the relative humidity in the usable space to a first target value for a first duration, wherein a humidification system introduces an active substance; deactivating the relative humidity regulation; and degrading the active substance in the usable space for a degradation duration. The invention also relates to a corresponding device and to a corresponding system.
Claims14
A method for reducing a germ density in the usable space of a device, comprising
- heating the usable space to a process temperature such that the relative humidity in the usable space is below an upper humidity limit value;
- regulating the relative humidity in the usable space to a first target value for a first duration, wherein a humidification system introduces an active substance;
- deactivating the relative humidity regulation;
- and
- degrading the active substance in the usable space for a degradation duration.
A device, comprising
- a usable space;
- an active humidification system designed to increase the relative humidity in the usable space;
- a humidity sensor for measuring the relative humidity in the usable space;
- a temperature control system designed to increase the temperature in the usable space;
- a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature in the usable space;
- wherein the humidification system comprises at least one active substance port designed for connection to an active substance container containing an active substance liquid comprising an active substance;
- and
- wherein the device is designed to introduce the active substance into the usable space via the humidification system.
