Methods for treating testicular and ovarian adrenal rest tumors

A method of treating congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition comprising:

• a small molecule corticotropin-releasing factor type-1 (CRF1) antagonist, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the small molecule CRF1 antagonist is:
• or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and
• one or more pharmaceutically acceptable or physiologically acceptable diluents, carriers or excipients,
• wherein the pharmaceutical composition is orally administered twice daily,
• wherein the small molecule CRF1 antagonist is administered at a dose of about 25 mg, about 50 mg, about 100 mg, or about 200 mg,
• wherein the subject is in a fed state, and
• wherein at least one of the twice daily administered doses is administered in the evening.
