Abstract
A hair conditioning composition includes an L-beta lamellar gel network; a plurality of core-satellite clusters comprising a core particle and satellite particles surrounding the core particle. The core comprises silicone and wherein the satellite particles comprise triglyceride. The composition exhibits a shear stress from about 40 Pa to about 800 Pa @950 1/s. The L-beta lamellar gel network includes a surfactant, high melting point fatty compound, and an aqueous carrier. The surfactant may be a cationic surfactant. The hair conditioning composition may be a conditioner, a shampoo, or a 2-1 shampoo and conditioner.
Claims20
A hair conditioning composition comprising:
- a L-beta lamellar gel network;
- a plurality of core-satellite clusters comprising a core particle and satellite particles surrounding the core particle, wherein the core comprises silicone and wherein the satellite particles comprise triglyceride,
- wherein the composition has a shear stress from about 40 Pa to about 800 Pa @950 1/s according to the Shear Stress Method disclosed herein.
A hair conditioner composition comprising core-satellite clusters:
- an L-beta lamellar gel network;
- a plurality of core-satellite clusters comprising a core particle and satellite particles surrounding the core particle, wherein the core comprises silicone and wherein the satellite particles comprise triglyceride, wherein the silicone is selected from polyalkyl siloxanes, polyaryl siloxanes, polyalkylaryl siloxanes, polyether siloxane copolymers, amino substituted silicones, alkylamino substituted silicones, quaternized silicones, aminosilicones, amodimethicones, terminal aminosilicones, branched aminosilicones, silicone polymers containing quaternary groups, and combinations thereof,
- wherein the core-satellite clusters have a diameter in the range of about 1 μm to about 150 μm.
