Abstract

A production method for producing a closure tab for a diaper has the method steps of: a) providing a hook strip and at least one textile or textile-like backing layer strip; b) placing the hook strip and the backing layer strip against one another and fastening the hook strip to the backing layer strip at least in portions; c) cutting at least one hook portion, preferably multiple thereof, out of the hook strip; d) producing a closure tab strip by detaching the hook strip from the at least one backing layer strip. The at least one cut-out hook portion remains on the backing layer strip.
