Tooth Whitening Apparatus

A method of manufacturing a tooth treatment applicator comprising:

• providing a rod member having a distal portion with a hollow interior;
• inserting an attachment rod of an applicator tip assembly into the hollow interior of the distal portion of the rod member;
• and
• deforming a portion of the distal portion of the rod member to secure the attachment rod within the hollow interior.

A tooth treatment apparatus comprising:

• a container defining a cavity containing a composition comprising alcohol;
• an applicator assembly comprising a rod member and an applicator tip;
• wherein the applicator assembly is movable between:
• an attached state in which the applicator tip is positioned within the cavity;
• and
• a detached state in which the applicator tip is removed from the cavity for application of the composition to a user;
• wherein, during use in the detached state, at least a portion of the alcohol evaporates from the composition retained on the applicator tip;
• and
• wherein, upon returning the applicator assembly to the attached state, composition on the applicator tip that has begun to harden due to evaporation of the alcohol is re-dissolved into the composition in the cavity.
