Abstract
A device for investigating blood flow at a portion of tissue of a user includes a laser configured to generate light for transmission to the portion of the tissue; a plurality of detectors; and a plurality of separate optical inputs respectively optically coupled to the plurality of detectors and configured to respectively receive a plurality of separate speckle patterns, responsive to the transmitted light, from the portion of the tissue, wherein the device is configured to obtain a speckleplethysmography (SPG) measurement based on a plurality of measurements taken respectively by the plurality of detectors.
Claims19
A device adapted to investigate blood flow at a portion of tissue of a user, the device comprising:
- a laser configured to generate light for transmission to the portion of the tissue;
- a plurality of detectors;
- and
- a plurality of separate optical inputs respectively optically coupled to the plurality of detectors and configured to respectively receive a plurality of separate speckle patterns, responsive to the transmitted light, from the portion of the tissue,
- wherein the device is configured to obtain a speckleplethysmography (SPG) measurement based on a plurality of measurements taken respectively by the plurality of detectors.
