Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method of controlling a robot cleaner station, the method including a mop washing step of washing a mop of a robot cleaner by supplying washing water to the mop in a state in which the robot cleaner is coupled to the robot cleaner station, a sterilizing/washing step of sterilizing the mop by discharging heated water or wet vapor to the mop, and a mop drying step of drying the mop by operating a blower fan configured to discharge air toward the mop, in which the blower fan operates in the sterilizing/washing step, thereby preventing an increase in internal humidity of the robot cleaner station and improving efficiency of a drying process.
Claims18
A robot cleaner station comprising:
- a housing comprising an upper cover;
- a base accommodated in the housing and disposed below a robot cleaner;
- an accommodation space formed between the base and the upper cover and configured to accommodate the robot cleaner;
- a mop washing part configured to wash a mop of the robot cleaner;
- and
- a mop drying part configured to dry the mop by discharging air to the mop,
- wherein the mop washing part comprises a steam supply part configured to heat water and supply hot water or wet vapor to the accommodation space,
- wherein the mop drying part comprises a blower fan configured to generate an airflow and discharge the air into the accommodation space, and
- wherein the blower fan is configured to operate while the steam supply part operates.
A method of controlling a robot cleaner station, the method comprising:
- a mop washing step of washing a mop of a robot cleaner by supplying washing water to the mop in a state in which the robot cleaner is coupled to the robot cleaner station;
- a sterilizing/washing step of sterilizing the mop by discharging heated water or wet vapor to the mop;
- and
- a mop drying step of drying the mop by operating a blower fan configured to discharge air toward the mop,
- wherein the blower fan operates in the sterilizing/washing step.
