A protective foot sleeve device is provided. The device is designed to provide a temporary waterproof and thermally insulated barrier for a user's foot and footwear in adverse weather conditions. The device comprises a body configured to accommodate various foot anatomies and to extend over the ankle or lower calf, the body comprising an outer layer formed from thermoplastic polyurethane for waterproofing and durability, and an inner layer formed from neoprene for thermal insulation and moisture-wicking. The body may further comprise an insole-receiving pocket configured to retain an insole removed from the user's footwear, wherein the pocket may include a closure mechanism to secure the insole and prevent water ingress.
