Biodegradable seed coating composition and a process for manufacturing the same

The process for manufacturing seed coating compositions is comprising the steps of:

• a) dissolving chitosan in a 1-2% acetic acid solution to form a chitosan solution using stabilized aloe vera juice as a plant-derived growth promoter
• b) dissolving PHBV (polyhydroxybutyrate-valerate) in solvent followed by homogenization to form a polymer base solution;
• c) stirring the chitosan solution into the PHBV solution to form a homogeneous mixture, after which stabilized aloe vera juice is added and homogenized for 10 minutes to ensure uniform distribution;
• d) stirring nitrogen fertilizer and micronutrients until all solids are completely dissolved;
• mixing humectants and antioxidants to regulate moisture and protect the composition from degradation, and an emulsifier is added to stabilize the mixture;
• e) homogenizing the mixture for 20 minutes to achieve a uniform consistency, after which the resulting composition is filled into airtight, UV-protected containers and stored at room temperature.
