Abstract
An electronic circuit board for an image forming apparatus includes a substrate having a first land and a second land, and at least one component mounted on the substrate by solder provided on the first land and solder provided on the second land. A per-unit-area solder amount of the solder provided on the first land differs from a per-unit-area solder amount of the solder provided on the second land.
Claims12
An electronic circuit board for an image forming apparatus, the electronic circuit board comprising:
- a substrate having a first land and a second land;
- and
- at least one component mounted on the substrate by solder provided on the first land and solder provided on the second land,
- wherein a per-unit-area solder amount of the solder provided on the first land differs from a per-unit-area solder amount of the solder provided on the second land.

A method for manufacturing an electronic circuit board, the method comprising:
- preparing a substrate having a first land and a second land;
- preparing a mask having a first opening and a second opening;
- overlaying the mask on the substrate such that the first land is exposed through the first opening and the second land is exposed through the second opening;
- disposing a solder material on the mask overlaying the substrate;
- removing the mask from the substrate after disposing the solder material on the mask overlaying the substrate;
- placing at least one component on the substrate after removing the mask from the substrate;
- and
- reflowing the solder material remaining on the substrate after placing the at least one component on the substrate,
- wherein a ratio of a size of the first opening to an area of the first land exposed through the first opening differs from a ratio of a size of the second opening to an area of the second land exposed through the second opening.
