Abstract
One or more first transmit power control parameters that are common to transmit power control for multiple different physical uplink channels are transmitted by a network device and received by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network. The UE transmits, and the network device receives, one of the multiple different physical uplink channels. That uplink channel is transmitted at a transmit power that is based on the first transmit power control parameter(s) and one or more second transmit power control parameters that are specific to the transmit power control for the uplink channel.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a user equipment (UE), signaling for power control of multiple physical uplink channels, wherein the signaling includes reference information, the reference information indicating at least one of a large-scale pathloss, a reference position, a pathloss compensation factor, a component carrier, a numerology, a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), a component carrier bandwidth, a number of resource blocks (RBs), or a channel transmission format;
- and
- transmitting, by the UE, a physical uplink channel of the multiple physical uplink channels at a transmit power based on the reference information and at least one offset value specific to the physical uplink channel.
A method comprising:
- transmitting, by a network node, signaling for power control of multiple physical uplink channels, wherein the signaling includes reference information, the reference information indicating at least one of a large-scale pathloss, a reference position, a pathloss compensation factor, a component carrier, a numerology, a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), a component carrier bandwidth, a number of resource blocks (RBs), or a channel transmission format;
- and
- receiving, by the network node, a physical uplink channel of the multiple physical uplink channels at a transmit power based on the reference information and at least one offset value specific to the physical uplink channel.
A user equipment (UE) comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing programming, the programming including instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the UE to perform operations including:
- receiving signaling for power control of multiple physical uplink channels, wherein the signaling includes reference information, the reference information indicating at least one of a large-scale pathloss, a reference position, a pathloss compensation factor, a component carrier, a numerology, a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), a component carrier bandwidth, a number of resource blocks (RBs), or a channel transmission format;
- and
- transmitting a physical uplink channel of the multiple physical uplink channels at a transmit power based on the reference information and at least one offset value specific to the physical uplink channel.
A network node comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing programming, the programming including instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the network node to perform operations including:
- transmitting signaling for power control of multiple physical uplink channels, wherein the signaling includes reference information, the reference information indicating at least one of a large-scale pathloss, a reference position, a pathloss compensation factor, a component carrier, a numerology, a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), a component carrier bandwidth, a number of resource blocks (RBs), or a channel transmission format;
- and
- receiving a physical uplink channel of the multiple physical uplink channels at a transmit power based on the reference information and at least one offset value specific to the physical uplink channel.
