Abstract
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a hearing aid with two or more microphones and a processor; wherein the processor includes a first filter bank, a beamformer, a multiplexer configured to perform multiplexing operations outputting time-frequency values, and a wind noise controller configured to, recurringly, determine a first wind noise level.

A hearing aid configured to:
- obtain a first signal comprising first time-frequency values;
- obtain a second signal comprising second time-frequency values;
- determine a third signal comprising third time-frequency by performing first beamforming based on the first signal and the second signal;
- recurringly, determine a first wind noise level based on one or more of:
- the first signal, the second signal, and the third signal;
- determine whether the first wind noise level satisfies a first criterion;
- if the first wind noise level satisfies a first criterion, determine a fourth signal comprising fourth time-frequency values by multiplexing based on the third signal and one or more of the first signal and the second signal,
- if the first wind noise level does not satisfy the first criterion, determine the fourth signal by static selection from one of the third signal, the first signal, and the second signal.

- obtaining a second signal comprising second time-frequency values;
- determining a third signal comprising third time-frequency by performing first beamforming based on the first signal and the second signal;
- recurringly, determining a first wind noise level based on one or more of:
- the first signal, the second signal, and the third signal;
- determining whether the first wind noise level satisfies a first criterion;
- if the first wind noise level satisfies a first criterion, determining a fourth signal comprising fourth time-frequency values by multiplexing based on the third signal and one or more of the first signal and the second signal,
- if the first wind noise level does not satisfy the first criterion, determining the fourth signal by static selection from one of the third signal, the first signal, and the second signal.
