Abstract
A video transmission device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise: a wireless communication interface for allowing wireless communication with an external device; an external input interface for receiving a video signal from the outside; and a processor for determining, on the basis of the received video signal, the genre of a video corresponding to the video signal, determining, according to the determined genre, the resolution and frame rate of the video to be transmitted to the external device, and transmitting, through the wireless communication interface, the video having the determined resolution and frame rate to the external device.
Claims15
A video transmission device, comprising:
- a wireless communication interface performing wireless communication with an external device;
- an external input interface receiving a video signal from the outside;
- and
- a processor determining a genre of a video corresponding to the video signal based on the received video signal, determining a resolution and a frame rate of the video to be transmitted to the external device according to the determined genre, and transmitting the video having the determined resolution and frame rate to the external device through the wireless communication interface.
A method for operating a video transmission device, comprising:
- receiving a video signal;
- determining a genre of a video corresponding to the video signal based on the received video signal;
- determining a resolution and a frame rate of the video to be transmitted to an external device according to the determined genre;
- and
- transmitting the video having the determined resolution and frame rate to the external device.
