Enhanced Curfew and Protection Associated with a Device Group

A wireless end-user device comprising:

• a wireless modem configured to communicate data with a network for one or more device service activities;
• and
• at least one processor configured to execute one or more software elements to:
• designate the wireless end-user device as subject to controls under a device group authorization;
• receive, via the wireless modem, one or more management profiles from at least one of a service account or a network service controller;
• evaluate a current status of one or more device states, the one or more device states including at least one of a device location change state or a device user input/output method state, against at least one or more corresponding settings in a selected one of the management profiles to determine a match;
• in response to determining the match, perform one or more network activity management actions specified in the selected management profile, the one or more network activity management actions limiting at least one of the one or more device service activities;
• and
• in response to not determining the match, refrain from performing the one or more network activity management actions.
