Abstract
The optoelectronic semiconductor component includes a semiconductor body having an active zone and segments, as well as a shielding structure. Two adjacent segments are separated by a trough that penetrates the active zone starting from a top side of the semiconductor body. The shielding structure is arranged on the top side and/or within the trough and is impermeable for radiation generated in the active zone.
Claims17
An optoelectronic semiconductor device comprising:
- a semiconductor body with an active zone and segments, and
- a shading structure, wherein
- two adjacent segments are separated by a trench which, starting from an upper side of the semiconductor body, penetrates the active zone completely,
- the shading structure comprises a shading element on the upper side and/or an absorbing element inside the trench, and
- the shading structure is impermeable and/or absorbent for radiation generated in the active zone, and
- the absorbing element, starting from a bottom region of the trench, extends at most as far as the active zone.
