Ac power transfer modules

An AC power transfer module comprising an adapter, a grabber, and at least one mechanical switch in cooperation between the adapter and the grabber, the AC power transfer module operable to enable uninterrupted delivery of power to a demand unit when switching from electrical engagement of the demand unit with an original power source to electrical engagement of the demand unit with a transfer power source, the adapter configured to engage with a demand unit plug that is electrically engaged with the original power source, the grabber configured to cooperate with each of the adapter and the mechanical switch when the AC power transfer module is assembled, and to separately engage with the transfer power source, the adapter comprising at least one receptacle configured to receive at least one or a plurality of prongs extending from the demand unit plug, wherein, the AC power transfer module is used by initiating engagement between the demand unit plug and the adapter of the assembled AC power transfer module which is in electrical engagement with the transfer power source via the grabber to thereby simultaneously actuate the mechanical switch and transfer supply of power from the original power source to the transfer power source without disruption of power to the demand unit.
