Abstract
An electrical connection member includes a terminal, a housing for holding the terminal and a sealing material arranged between the terminal and the housing. The housing contains at least one of a polyester-based resin and a polyamide-based resin. The sealing material contains a thermoplastic polymer, is soluble or swelling to both hexafluoroisopropanol and m-cresol and has a mass change rate of less than 20% when being immersed in lubricating oil at 100° C. for 8 hours.

An electrical connection member, comprising:
- a terminal;
- a housing for holding the terminal;
- and
- a sealing material arranged between the terminal and the housing,
- the housing containing at least one of a polyester-based resin and a polyamide-based resin, and
- the sealing material containing a thermoplastic polymer, being soluble or swelling to both hexafluoroisopropanol and m-cresol and having a mass change rate of less than 20% when being immersed in lubricating oil at 100° C. for 8 hours.
