Abstract
A battery includes an electrode assembly, a case accommodating the electrode assembly, the case including a vent hole, and a vent formed of a polymer material, the vent including a body portion covering the vent hole, and a flange portion extending from the body portion toward a surface of the case, the flange portion being coupled to the case and including at least one protrusion protruding in a thickness direction of a portion of the case coupled to the flange portion.

A battery, comprising:
- an electrode assembly;
- a case accommodating the electrode assembly, the case including a vent hole;
- and
- a vent formed of a polymer material, the vent including:
- a body portion covering the vent hole, and
- a flange portion extending from the body portion toward a surface of the case, the flange portion being coupled to the case and including at least one protrusion protruding in a thickness direction of a portion of the case coupled to the flange portion.

- a housing;
- and
- a plurality of batteries inside the housing, each of the plurality of batteries includes:
- an electrode assembly,
- a case accommodating the electrode assembly, the case including a vent hole;

- a vent formed of a polymer material, the vent including:

- a flange portion extending from the body portion toward a surface of the case, the flange portion being coupled to the case and including at least one protrusion protruding in a thickness direction of a portion of the case coupled to the flange portion.
