Abstract
A positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, contains a lithium metal composite oxide and barium sulfate, in which the lithium metal composite oxide is represented by Formula (1). (in Formula (1), M1 is at least one element of Co, Mn, or Al, M2 is at least one element of Ti, Zn, Zr, Mg, Ca, B, Si, Nb, W, Mo, Ta, or P, and Formula (1) satisfies −0.1≤a≤0.2, 0<b≤0.4, 0≤c≤0.4, and 0<b+c≤0.4)

A positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, comprising:
- a lithium metal composite oxide;
- and
- barium sulfate,
- wherein the lithium metal composite oxide is represented by Formula (1),
- (in Formula (1), M1 is at least one element of Co, Mn, or Al, M2 is at least one element of Ti, Zn, Zr, Mg, Ca, B, Si, Nb, W, Mo, Ta, or P, and Formula (1) satisfies −0.1≤a≤0.2, 0<b≤0.4, 0≤c≤0.4, and 0<b+c≤0.4).
