Abstract
An information processing apparatus includes: an image acquisition unit that acquires an image including a facial recognition area, which is set in a ticket gate area of a railway station and through which a user of the railway station passes; a facial recognition unit that performs facial recognition on the user, based on the image; and an information processing unit that registers information for using an automatic ticket gate linked to a registrant corresponding to the user identified by the facial recognition, and information indicating at least one of the user entering the railway station and the user exiting from the railway station, in a system related to the automatic ticket gate.
Claims5
An information processing apparatus comprising:
- at least one memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to:
- acquire an image including a facial recognition area, which is set in a ticket gate area of a railway station and through which a user of the railway station pass;
- perform facial recognition on the user, using the image, and facial information of registrants wishing to use a system related to an automatic ticket gate, wherein the information of registrants is stored in a storage unit in advance;
- and
- register information for using the automatic ticket gate linked to a registrant corresponding to the user identified by the facial recognition, and information indicating at least one of the user entering the railway station and the user exiting from the railway station, in the system related to the automatic ticket gate.
An information processing method comprising:
- acquiring an image including a facial recognition area, which is set in a ticket gate area of a railway station and through which a user of the railway station pass;
- performing facial recognition on the user, using the image, and facial information of registrants wishing to use a system related to an automatic ticket gate, wherein the information of registrants is stored in a storage unit in advance;
- and
- registering information for using the automatic ticket gate linked to a registrant corresponding to the user identified by the facial recognition, and information indicating at least one of the user entering the railway station and the user exiting from the railway station, in the system related to the automatic ticket gate.
A non-transitory recording medium on which a computer program that allows a computer to execute an information processing method is recorded, the information processing method including:
- acquiring an image including a facial recognition area, which is set in a ticket gate area of a railway station and through which a user of the railway station pass;
- performing facial recognition on the user, using the image, and facial information of registrants wishing to use a system related to an automatic ticket gate, wherein the information of registrants is stored in a storage unit in advance;
- and
- registering information for using the automatic ticket gate linked to a registrant corresponding to the user identified by the facial recognition, and information indicating at least one of the user entering the railway station and the user exiting from the railway station, in the system related to the automatic ticket gate.
