Abstract

Provided in one embodiment is a product display status monitoring method performed by means of a computing device including a processor for sensing a product display status on the basis of a captured image acquired using an imaging device that captures the area in which at least one electronic shelf label and at least one product are provided, the method comprising: identifying, from the captured image, a pattern code displayed on the at least one electronic shelf label; acquiring position information allocated in the pattern code from a server; determining a target image, which is an image of the area corresponding to the position information in the captured image; detecting a reference image, which is an image of the area corresponding to the position information in a planogram; and comparing the target image to the reference image.

Dependent claims

A product display status monitoring method performed by a computing device including a processor configured to sense display status of products based on a captured image acquired by an imaging device capturing an area in which at least one electronic shelf label and at least one product are provided, the product display status monitoring method comprising:

identifying a pattern code displayed on the at least one electronic shelf label from the captured image;
acquiring location information assigned to the pattern code from a server;
detecting a target image that is an image of an area corresponding to the location information in the captured images;
detecting a reference image that is an image of the area corresponding to the location information in a planogram;
and
comparing the target image with the reference image.

at least one electronic shelf label provided at a location corresponding to the at least one product, and displaying a pattern code;

a computing device including a memory configured to store a program for performing a product display status monitoring method for sensing the display status of the at least one product based on the captured image, and a processor configured to execute the program;
