Abstract
The present disclosure relates to an inspection system for printed products that include at least two sets of sheets, each set constituting a repeating unit of sheets, and includes at least a piece of content. The inspection system includes a first setting unit configured to set inspection areas to respective reference images included in a first reference image group of a first set, and a second setting unit configured to set the inspection areas set by the first setting unit to respective reference images included in a second reference image group of a second set, the second reference image group including a layout of contents common to the first reference image group and differing in image-related contents.
Claims20
An inspection system that generates at least two sets of printed products, each set constituting one repeating unit of sheets, and inspects the at least two sets of printed products, the inspection system comprising:
- one or more controllers having one or more processors and one or more memories, the one or more controllers configured to:
- set inspection areas each corresponding to a different reference image of reference images included in a first reference image group of a first set;
- set each of the set inspection areas to a corresponding reference image of reference images included in a second reference image group of a second set, the second reference image group having a layout of contents common to the first reference image group and differing in image-related contents;
- and
- inspect scanned images of the printed products based on each of the reference images of the first reference image group, a corresponding reference image of the reference images of the second reference image group, and a corresponding inspection area of the inspection areas.
An inspection apparatus for printed products including a plurality of sets of printed products, each set constituting one repeating unit of sheets, and among the plurality of sets of printed products, a layout of contents being common and image-related contents being different from each other, the inspection apparatus comprising:
- one or more controllers having one or more processors and one or more memories, the one or more controllers configured to:
- register a reference image;
- receive an inspection area for the reference image;
- set the received inspection area;
- and
- inspect the printed products based on the reference image and the inspection area,
- wherein the one or more controllers receive inspection areas corresponding to one set with respect to reference images corresponding to one set, and
- wherein the one or more controllers repeatedly set the inspection areas corresponding to the one set to reference images corresponding to each remaining set of a plurality of reference images including the reference images corresponding to the one set.
