Abstract
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium stores a print control program that causes a computer to function as an information acquiring section that acquires both first information and second information relating to printing by a printer, and a notification instructing section that causes an OS to perform a notification based on the first information and the second information. The first information is obtainable by not only a general-purpose printer driver but also the information acquiring section. The second information is not obtainable by the general-purpose printer driver but is obtainable by the information acquiring section.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a print control program, the print control program causing a computer to function as:
- an information acquiring section that acquires both first information and second information relating to printing by a printer;
- and
- a notification instructing section that causes an OS to perform a notification based on the first information and the second information, wherein
- the first information is obtainable by not only a general-purpose printer driver but also the information acquiring section, and
- the second information is not obtainable by the general-purpose printer driver but is obtainable by the information acquiring section.
An information processing apparatus, comprising:
- an information acquiring section that acquires both first information and second information relating to printing by a printer;
- and
- a notification instructing section that causes an OS to perform a notification based on the first information and the second information, wherein
- the first information is obtainable by not only a general-purpose printer driver but also the information acquiring section, and
- the second information is not obtainable by the general-purpose printer driver but is obtainable by the information acquiring section.
A notification method, comprising:
- acquiring, by an information acquiring section, both first information and second information relating to printing by a printer;
- and
- causing, by a notification instructing section, an OS to perform a notification based on the first information and the second information, wherein
- the first information is obtainable by not only a general-purpose printer driver but also the information acquiring section, and
- the second information is not obtainable by the general-purpose printer driver but is obtainable by the information acquiring section.
