Abstract
A method and a system include receiving indication of a user interaction within a pre-determined time period, determining that the user interaction is a contextual triggering event based on a plurality of triggering conditions, identifying a media content item associated with the contextual triggering event, generating a first user interface including a user-selectable element representing a content transmission proposal, in response to detecting a user selection of the user-selectable element, generating a second user interface, the second user interface including the media content item and a plurality of user-selectable entity icons.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- detecting, via a device, a user activity based on a predetermined time period, the user activity being associated with a media content item;
- generating a first user-selectable element representing a content transmission proposal to share the media content item;
- causing display of the first user-selectable element on the device;
- in response to receiving an indication of user selection of the first user-selectable element, generating a collection-sharing user interface that includes a second user-selectable element representing an invitation to add the media content item to a collection of content that is collectively created by a plurality of users;
- and
- causing display of the collection-sharing user interface on the device.
A system comprising:
- one or more hardware processors;
- and
- a non-transitory machine-readable medium for storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more hardware processors, cause the one or more hardware processors to perform operations comprising:
- detecting, via a device, a user activity based on a predetermined time period, the user activity being associated with a media content item;
- generating a first user-selectable element representing a content transmission proposal to share the media content item;
- causing display of the first user-selectable element on the device;
- in response to receiving an indication of user selection of the first user-selectable element, generating a collection-sharing user interface that includes a second user-selectable element representing an invitation to add the media content item to a collection of content that is collectively created by a plurality of users;
- and
- causing display of the collection-sharing user interface on the device.
A non-transitory machine-readable medium for storing instructions that, when executed by one or more hardware processors, cause the one or more hardware processors to perform operations comprising:
- detecting, via a device, a user activity based on a predetermined time period, the user activity being associated with a media content item;
- generating a first user-selectable element representing a content transmission proposal to share the media content item;
- causing display of the first user-selectable element on the device;
- in response to receiving an indication of user selection of the first user-selectable element, generating a collection-sharing user interface that includes a second user-selectable element representing an invitation to add the media content item to a collection of content that is collectively created by a plurality of users;
- and
- causing display of the collection-sharing user interface on the device.
