Booklet manufacturing apparatus and image forming system

A booklet manufacturing apparatus that is connectable to an image forming apparatus including:

• a rotatable image bearing member;
• a development unit configured to be able to supply toner to the image bearing member and develop a toner image and a bonding toner image;
• a transfer unit configured to transfer the toner image on the image bearing member to a recording material;
• a collection member configured to collect residual toner remaining on the image bearing member without being transferred to the recording material;
• a residual toner storage portion configured to store the residual toner collected by the collection member and including a toner discharge port for discharging the residual toner, the toner discharge port of the residual toner storage portion being provided on one side in a rotational axis direction of the image bearing member;
• and
• a conveyance member configured to convey the residual toner toward the toner discharge port by moving the residual toner stored in the residual toner storage portion in the rotational axis direction, and
• that includes a heater configured to heat the bonding toner image,
• wherein a booklet is manufactured by heating the bonding toner image transferred to the recording material by the transfer unit using the heater and bonding a plurality of recording media using a bonding force of the heated bonding toner image, and
• wherein the heater is disposed on the other side in the rotational axis direction.
