Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor has an inorganic protective layer on a photosensitive layer, in which a layer in the photosensitive layer, that is in contact with the inorganic protective layer, contains a filler, a volume fraction of the filler in the layer in contact with the inorganic protective layer is 50% or more, and an arithmetic mean roughness of a surface of the inorganic protective layer is 0.01 μm or less.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising:
- an inorganic protective layer on a photosensitive layer,
- wherein a layer in the photosensitive layer, that is in contact with the inorganic protective layer, contains a filler,
- a volume fraction of the filler in the layer in contact with the inorganic protective layer is 50% or more, and
- an arithmetic mean roughness of a surface of the inorganic protective layer is 0.01 μm or less.
