Abstract
An electronic device includes a camera cover that can move independently of a camera module. The electronic device may dynamically adjust a movement track of a focus motor based on movement of the camera cover, and balance a relative position between the camera cover and the focus motor.

A method comprising:
- starting a camera application;
- determining a first target position for a focus motor of a camera module;
- moving a camera cover;
- and
- moving the focus motor to the first target position when the camera cover moves to a first position and when a first distance between the first position and the first target position is greater than or equal to a second distance,
- wherein the first position is less than a target position of the camera cover.

- a camera module configured to shoot an image and comprising:
- a lens;
- and
- a focus motor configured to push the lens to implement focusing;
- a camera cover configured to:
- provide a moving space for the camera module;
- and
- protect an internal structure of the electronic device;

- one or more processors coupled to the camera module and the camera cover and configured to:
- start a camera application;
- determine a first target position for the focus motor to move;
- move the camera cover;
- and
- move the focus motor to the first target position when the camera cover moves to a first position and when a first distance between the first position and the first target position is greater than or equal to a second distance,
- wherein the first position is less than a target position of the camera cover.
