Abstract

In some aspects, a physical separation system configured to transport a sample between a first section of a laboratory configured to perform a first portion of a process on the sample, and a second section of the laboratory configured to perform a second portion of the process on the sample may include a chamber, and a first door positionable to optionally permit or prevent access between the first section and the chamber. The physical separation system may also include a second door positionable to optionally permit or prevent access between the second section and the chamber, and a first robotic arm configured to transport the sample between at least one of: the first section and the chamber, the second section and the chamber, or a first location within the chamber and a second location within the chamber.
