A system (100) for detecting spots in a substrate, as well as a test plate (200) for such a system, are disclosed. The system comprises illumination means (110) for illuminating the substrate, detection means (120) for detecting photons emitted or reflected from the substrate, and processing means (130) for detecting the spots based on the detected photons. The test plate comprises a first test structure (210) with a fluorescent material and a second test structure (220) with a pattern of features defining a first area (222) with relatively high photon reflection or fluorescence and a second area (221) with relatively low photon reflection or fluorescence. The processing means (130) is configured to determine a parameter indicating an intensity of the illumination as well as a parameter indicating a focus level of the detection means (120 ) based on detected photons emitted of reflected from the test structures (210, 220).
A system for detecting spots in a substrate arranged on a bottom of a well of a multi-well plate, wherein the spots indicate analyte-secreting cells of a sample, the system comprising:
A test plate for determining a performance of a device for detecting spots in a substrate on a bottom of a well of a multi-well plate, wherein the spots indicate analyte-secreting cells of a sample, and wherein the device comprises:
A method for determining a performance of a system for detecting spots in a substrate arranged on a bottom of a well of a multi-well plate, wherein the spots indicate analyte-secreting cells of a sample, the method comprising:
