Abstract
The invention relates to a sensor for detecting a fluid stream in a fluid line, wherein the sensor includes a movable component that can be moved into a switching position by a fluid stream flowing through the sensor, in which position an electrical circuit is closed. The invention also relates to a system and to a method for detecting a malfunction in a fluid distribution system having a fluid line, using a sensor of this type.
Claims16
A sensor for detecting a fluid stream in a fluid line, comprising:
- a housing including at least one fluid inlet and at least one fluid outlet, wherein the fluid inlet and fluid outlet are fluidically connected to one another by at least one fluid channel;
- and
- at least one movable component which is at least partially arranged in the fluid channel and which can be moved from a first position to a second position by a fluid stream flowing through the fluid channel,
- wherein the first position and/or the second position is a switching position in which an electrical circuit is closed.
A system for detecting a fluid stream in a fluid line, comprising:
- a fluid supply device,
- a first fluid line with at least one inlet opening and at least one outlet opening, wherein the first fluid line is fluidically connected to the fluid supply device;
- wherein the fluid supply device is suitable for generating a fluid stream from the fluid supply device to the outlet opening of the first fluid line;
- and
- a first sensor for detecting the fluid stream in the first fluid line, wherein the sensor is arranged on and/or at least partially in the first fluid line.
A method for detecting a malfunction in a fluid distribution system, comprising:
- a fluid supply device,
- at least a first fluid line with at least one inlet opening and at least one outlet opening, wherein the first fluid line is fluidically connected to the fluid supply device,
- wherein the fluid supply device is suitable for generating a fluid stream from the fluid supply device to the outlet opening of the first fluid line, and
- a first sensor for detecting the fluid stream in the first fluid line, wherein the sensor is arranged on and/or at least partially in the first fluid line, and
- a computing unit, wherein the computing unit is connected to at least the first sensor;
- wherein the method includes the steps of:
- a1) detecting a fluid stream in the first fluid line by means of the first sensor, and
- b1) detecting a malfunction, if
- a fluid stream has been detected although there is no fluid supply request for the first fluid line, or
- no fluid stream has been detected although there is a fluid supply request for the first fluid line.
