Outdoor unit

An outdoor unit of a heat pump cycle apparatus the outdoor unit comprising:

• a refrigerant circuit connecting, by means of a pipe, a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant, a first heat exchanger configured to cause heat exchange between the refrigerant and air, and a second heat exchanger configured to cause heat exchange between the refrigerant and a heating medium;
• a heating medium circuit having a flow of the heating medium that exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the second heat exchanger;
• a sensor configured to detect the refrigerant to find leakage of the refrigerant;
• a gas-liquid separator connected to the heating medium circuit;
• a degassing valve attached to the gas-liquid separator and configured to degas the gas-liquid separator;
• and
• a fan configured to supply the first heat exchanger with air, wherein
• a fan chamber accommodating the fan and a machine chamber accommodating the compressor and the second heat exchanger are partitioned by a partitioning member, and
• the machine chamber accommodates a degassing port of the degassing valve and the sensor.
