A cold service hose includes a tubular layer formed from a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) composition having: (a) PVC polymer(s) in a total amount of at least 70 phr; (b) adipate plasticizer(s) in a total amount from 50 phr to 85 phr, including dioctyl adipate (DOA) plasticizer(s) constituting a majority by weight of the adipate plasticizer(s); and (c) non-adipate plasticizer(s) from 0 phr to 30 phr. A total plasticizer content of the PVC composition is in a range from 70 phr to 110 phr; a total phr of the PVC composition is from 170 phr to 210 phr; and the PVC composition does not contain more than 20 phr of other ingredient(s) in total combination. The PVC composition exhibits cold-temperature embrittlement resistance by not cracking when bent at temperatures of at least −65 F or colder as tested in accordance with ASTM D380.
