A valve trim configured for use in a flow control. These configurations may include a first seal, like a conical seal, that resides on top of a plug. This type of seal can expand under load to contact an inner surface of a cage. A second seal may reside inside of the plug, circumscribing a spindle that couples with an end of a valve stem. The first seal and the second seal can create internal seal points, for example, with the inner surface of the cage and with the outer surface of the spindle. These seal points improve performance of the flow control for use in applications that require devices that meet class V and related standards. In one implementation, the flow control may embody a flow-to-open device that is compatible with severe conditions, like high pressure or high temperature.
