An elongated joint tape for covering a joint, the joint tape having a main body extending in a longitudinal direction, being enclosed by one convexly shaped main side, one concavely shaped right side flank and one concavely shaped left side flank, wherein the joint tape comprises elastic material, wherein the joint tape is asymmetrically tapering along the side flanks in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and wherein one of the side flanks comprises an attachment means.
